Never Forget 9-11 or Romans 9-11

If there is one thing Americans and Israelis have in common is the unwanted hateful attention from certain populations. Americans old enough to remember the horrifying events of 9-11-01 will never forget the needless terror and murder of the innocent that tragic day.

In much different terms, but eternally important, is the call of Romans 9 -11, where the Apostle Paul beckons those who believe Jesus is the Messiah, but who are not of Jewish DNA (Gentiles) to never forget their role in God’s plan for Israel. Unfortunately, most Christians don’t realize their duty and how God desires to use them as believing Gentiles, also known as ‘grafted-in Israelites’ or likened to ‘spiritual Jews’ (Romans 2:28-29) to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy (Romans 11:11)! Are they jealous because Christianity typically teaches Jesus taught against God’s Torah? Certainly not for to the Jew, Jesus is an idolater and false prophet according to Deuteronomy 13. Would Jews be jealous of Gentile believers breaking Torah or God’s instructions for life? Certainly not for most Jews believe Gentiles only need to adhere to 7 Noahide Laws (very similar to the 10 Commandments) in order to be considered righteous – not the 613 commands of Torah as were given to the Israelites and those aligning themselves with Israel believing in the One True Living God. Would preaching a law-hating grace-loving gospel accompanied by sensational miracles said to be of the “Holy Spirit” make them jealous? Certainly not for Jews know in the new covenant, according to the prophets, God will give a new Spirit, which will cause one to WANT TO DO Torah (Jeremiah 31:31-33; Ezekiel 11:19-20,36:27) not hate Torah! So how are Christians to fulfill Romans 9 – 11? Watch this brief video to learn your role in God’s plan and how you can be part of the fullness of the Gentiles as the Apostle Paul references as do many prophets!
